Google koopt Nest voor 3,2 miljard dollar

Google heeft laten weten dat het Nest heeft overgenomen voor 2,3 miljard dollar. Nest, dat is opgericht door ex-Apple medewerkers maakt smart home apparaten en heeft bijvoorbeeld een slimme thermostaat uitgebracht.

Nest zal net als Motorola een apart bedrijf blijven binnen Google en zal dus ook onder leiding blijven staan van Fadell.
